Behold!

The Neptune 4 Pro FDM Printer
After years of yearning I have finally acquired a 3D printer. I was hoping to get something with a multicolour attachment to make things easy, but unfortunately the only reasonably affordable one I could find was a Bambu Labs printer... which for known reasons I avoided. So, I shopped around and found the Elegoo Neptune 4 printers, which not only seemed pretty decent, but had a sale on. The Neptune 4 Pro seemed to offer a good set of features (at least, to a beginner) with the main want being a decent bed size. At 22x22cm, that's pretty good for £200.
Anyways, this thing is incredible. Honestly, I sat there, mesmerised by it whilst it whirred away on a test print, and I marvelled at how much we are capable of. We made a machine that can build any shape out of durable material in a very short amount of time with incredible precision and accuracy! Thats wild!!! It is just so cool to see something virtual, which has always been the domain I work in, finally brought into the physical realm. I feel like I am quite vain when it comes to personal projects - I'm too much of a perfectionist to make something cool but leave it looking like a pile of scraps. It's why I studied graphic design - I was fed up with my stuff looking like junk. And, finally, I have a way to do things in the physical world that feels right.
Exciting stuff!
